Double room was top quality and the food was amazing. Private bathroom was reasonably large. Had perfect and lovely location away from main tourist attractions.

Welcoming staff, gorgeous hotel with particularly good restaurant. Superb double and perfect little rooms, good size bathroom. Excellent services, the free parking was available outside. The ambience was quiet. Really great experience there.

Upon staying for two nights, I found the Rose and Crown to be a good retreat. The room exuded comfort with modern amenities, though accessing it via an external metal staircase posed a slight challenge in inclement weather. I cherished the fantastic breakfasts and cute atmosphere.

The shower was a bit snug, but it did the job, and we recommend waking up for the lovely breakfast! 😊

Dinner in the restaurant was solid pub food, and it was buzzing on a Tuesday. Heather and marcus even adjusted breakfast timing for us.
